FIT & CARE
FINDING YOUR SIZE
Casa Blu pieces are designed to fit close to the body – that's intentional. A snug fit means they stay put in the surf, move with you in the water, and hold their shape over time.

CARE
Casa Blu is made to last – but like anything worth having, it needs a little looking after.
AFTER EVERY WEAR
- Rinse in cold fresh water as soon as you're out of the salt or chlorine.
- Gently squeeze out excess water – never wring or twist.
- Lay flat to dry in the shade. Direct sun fades colour over time.
WASHING
- Hand wash only in cold water with a gentle detergent.
- Avoid washing with rough fabrics like denim or towels.
- No bleach, fabric softener or harsh detergents – these break down the fibres.
DRYING
- Air dry flat or on a hanger.
- Never tumble dry – heat damages the fabric and elastic.
- Don't leave wet swimwear balled up in a bag.
SURF WAX
It happens. Here's how to get it out without ruining your piece.
COCONUT METHOD
Apply a few drops of coconut oil directly onto the wax and rub gently for a minute or two. Rinse with cold water, then hand wash as normal to remove any oil residue.
ICE METHOD
For thicker build-up, hold a zip-lock bag of ice over the wax until it hardens and becomes brittle. Gently flex the fabric or use a blunt spoon to flake it off, then follow up with the coconut oil method. Never scrape with anything sharp, and avoid hot water.
ZINC
Act fast and it'll come out clean. Rinse in cold water immediately – heat sets the stain. Apply a small amount of dish soap directly onto the mark, work it in gently, leave for a few minutes, then rinse and hand wash as normal. The sooner you treat it, the better.
MAKING IT LAST
- Rinse immediately after salt water or chlorine – leaving it to sit is the number one cause of fabric breakdown.
- Rotate between pieces if you're surfing daily – it gives each piece time to recover its shape.
- Avoid sitting on rough surfaces like concrete or rock.
- Let sunscreen absorb into your skin before it touches the fabric.
- Store flat or loosely rolled.
Take care of your Casa Blu and it'll take care of you for years to come.
